With lots of trades in the deadline mark period Demarcus Cousin (C) was big name in the draft when he went from Sacramento Kings to the New Orleans Pelicans.  “The Trade deadline came with the unusual mix of bluster and bust”said my friend Ethan Wilkins

In the trade the Sacramento Kings got Tyreke Evans (SG/SF), PG Langston Galloway, (SG) Buddy Hield, 2017 top-three protected first-round pick, 2017 second-round pick for Demarcus Cousins from the New Orleans Pelicans. Another big trade in the draft was serge Ibaka (C) for Terrence Ross (SG/SF). This trade is going to impact the NBA on another level. There were lots of other trades but Demarcus Cousins was the biggest name in the trade deadline.

The Oklahoma City Thunder receive Doug McDermott (SF), Taj Gibson (PF) and a 2018 second-round pick for Cameron Payne (PG), Anthony Morrow (SG)  and Joffrey Lauvergne (PF). Taj Gibson is another good player in the NBA. The Mavericks also got a new young center to fit the Mavericks received Nerlens Noel (C) for Andrew Bogut (C), Justin Anderson (SG/SF) and a 2017 first-round pick (top-18 protected).

The Rockets got a great pick up in the 2017 NBA trade deadline. Rockets receive Lou Williams (PG)for Corey Brewer (SG/SF) and a 2017 first-round pick from the lakers. This trade will affect the rockets in a whole different way with more scoring from lou williams averaging close to 20 points a game.

Now that Kevin Durant (SF) just got hurt Golden State Warriors  had to sign Matt Barnes (SF) to get more depth on their roster who has more experience in the NBA than other young players on the Golden State Warriors.

With Lots of these trades going on the Cavaliers got Deron Williams (PG), Kyle Korver (SG), Derrick Williams (SF) and Andrew Bogut (C). Now the Cleveland Cavaliers have a deeper roster.
