Stress and Generation Z

A cold fall day at Chalker Beach Old Saybrook, CT

This is Chalker Beach Old Saybrook also known as my safe space. Although generation Z is depicted as being lazy and neglectful we are under constant bombardment from draining and challenging school assignments, constructing our plan for college and researching an occupation that intrigues us and incites us to pursue it in the future. With all this weighing down on us constantly, it’s good to have a cherished location where all the pressure of your responsibilities can temporarily melt away. For me, this has been my happy place since I was little and have built many long-lasting friendships and created countless joyful memories that I reflect upon during hardships.
