Hall-Southington Hockey 2021

I’ve played hockey my whole life, I have always found it as an escape from the real world and I have met some of my closest friends while playing.  Last year due to Covid19 we lost the end of the 19/20 season, and I was very surprised that we even had a season during 20/21 year.  Instead of 20 games, conference playoffs, than state playoffs, we have 10 with only conference playoffs.  Although that’s better than nothing, the HallSouth teams knows this could have been their year to win states.  I have had many highs and lows while playing hockey. Last year looking around in the locker room at the seniors who played there last game with out realizing it, thinking they had won themselves at least one more game. I realized that I can’t have any regrets because I don’t have more time wearing this jersey with my brothers, and there is no going back.  My first picture is a photo of the goalie Noah BG and I celebrating our win to move us to the second round of states(canceled 2 days later). My second picture is of some players from the team shoveling out a pond on a snow day so we could still stay on the ice with no practice for the day.  My last picture is of me growing up through the years playing hockey that one of my family members edited to put on my senior poster.  Overall in this last week of the season hopefully 4-5 games depending on seeding, I want to look back and have good memories and not regret.
