Elias Heinen
As a 17-year-old senior at Hall High School, Eli Heinen has always been interested in journalism, ever since watching sports newscasters as a kid. Eli has never written for a newspaper before, which fuels his interest towards the topic. He believes this could attribute to a plethora of passion-driven sports articles. “I am a big sports fan, so I believe that I would be able to write some very passionate articles on the topic.”

Outside of the classroom, Eli is a trombone fiend. He is a premier performer for Hall’s critically-acclaimed annual production, Pop’s ‘N Jazz. This has definitely influenced Eli’s post high school plans, and he is strongly considering playing as his future saying, “After high school, I want to go to college and pursue a musical career.” Furthermore, the young reporter enjoys watching and playing basketball. Eli is a gargantuan Celtics fan, and he attempts to not miss a game.

Eli is someone friendly, and one who goes out of his way to help and respect others. This definitely embodies the persona necessary for the Hall Record to thrive efficiently. Ergo, this young writer is hungry for knowledge and possesses a great work ethic to help boost the prowess of the Hall Record.
