Q: What history do you have with journalism?

A: I first started getting interested in journalism during the 2016 elections. There was so much going on in the world That was when I first got some exposure to the field of journalism. Since then I have continued watching the news and reading news articles following what was happening all over the world.

Q: What type of stories are you interested in writing about?

A: I am interested in writing sports stories. I am on the girls hockey team. I feel like girls sports don’t get as much attention or coverage, and I noticed that there are not as many sports stories as I expected to see on Hall Records.

Q: What do you do in your free time?

A: Outside of school I have a job. I work at the town’s ice skating rink. I also play hockey, I’m one of the captains in the  girls hockey team. I spend almost all my free time at the rink when I am not at school, either working or playing hockey.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A:  I am going to Boston University next year and am pursuing a major in neuroscience. After I do that I want to go to medical school and hopefully become a trauma or emergency surgeon.
