Brae Sullivan is 18 years old and a senior at Hall High School. She lives with her mom, dad and two younger brothers. Brae is very active in the Hall community: President of the Community Service Club, a swimmer on the Hall team and involved in the theatre program. After high school, Brae plans on going to either Elon or Penn State and wants to major in secondary education history with a minor in political science. She enjoys reading news everyday. Journalism will impact her college studies because “everyone learns from the media.” Journalism is “a way to get your voice heard as a student.” One topic that Brae is very passionate to write about is the school-wide walkout. “It is amazing how much students are taking action,” Brae said. She hopes to write for the community and have her articles interest a vast majority of people.
