Seventeen year old aspiring journalist Colin Monnes of West Hartford discusses the importance of sports in his life and worries that COVID will end up taking his senior soccer season.
Q: Why are you taking Journalism?
A: Because I want to learn how to be a journalist.
Q: What about this year is making it harder for you?
A: Sports is going to be weird because there aren’t really fans, and you can’t really see as many people in school.
Q: How long have you been playing soccer?
A: All my life since I was in preschool.
Q: What did you do during quarantine?
A: I hung out with my friends socially distanced and I played video games.
