When I first heard about journalism, I realized it was different from traditional English courses I have taken. I was excited to hear that I would be passionately writing articles about topics that interest me instead of traditional forced English essays. Motivated by passion and interest, I hope to effectively convey my messages, as well as spark widespread interest in my selected topics. In addition to academics, I play varsity soccer, play the bass trombone in the Concert Jazz Band, and participate in many clubs.
