Lauren Barlow, Writer
Lauren Barlow is a 17 year old student that is currently attending Hall High School. She was born in Northborough, Massachusetts, but moved to West Hartford when she was four and a half. She lives with her mom; which is great because she feels closest to her.
Lauren is a well-rounded person with a wide variety of hobbies. They include singing, swimming, running, throwing, soccer, and baking. “I like to run; I’m on the track and field team”, says Lauren. She is also part of a singing group at Hall.
Lauren decided to enroll in this class because she thinks, “it’s important to learn about and read about current news articles.” After high school, she plans on pursuing a major in communication skills or working with special need children.
She describes herself as outgoing, fun and loud. Seeing as she wants to work with special needs children, it can be inferred that she cares for others and is open to people.
