Lexi Gellerman is 17 years old and from West Hartford, Connecticut, where she has lived her whole life. As a senior at Hall High School, she is very involved within the school community. Lexi is the captain of the Girls Varsity Basketball team, as well as a member of the Varsity Girls Soccer team, Community Service Club, and Student Association.
Outside of school, Lexi works at the ice cream shop, Abby Dabby, and enjoys hanging out with friends. Next year she plans on playing basketball at either Endicott College, though her major is still undecided.
To stay informed, Lexi scrolls through Twitter as well as watches The Today Show every morning before school.
“I was interested in being part of the school newspaper senior year and I thought it would be an interesting class,” she said. This will be her first time writing and publishing articles and she is excited to learn more.
