Mario Petrolito is a 17 year old at Hall. He was born in Hartford and moved to West Hartford last year and he can often be seen spending his time at the Hartford Boxing Center. In school, Mario said, “I really love being a TA for kids with special needs. I really understand them because my sister has the same disability as some of the kids. They are really interesting. I find out something new about them every day.”

When it comes to journalism, Mario has never written for a newspaper, but is not afraid of the challenge. He takes pride in being a great storyteller, and is excited to improve as a writer. He also is enthusiastic about learning different styles. When it comes to topics he wants to focus on, he intends on writing about issues that are going on at Hall and real world problems as well.
