This semester, Megan Polun will join our team of journalists; she is a native of West Hartford and has had the pleasure of going through West Hartford’s public education system, starting at Aiken Elementary. When asked about her academic interests, Megan humbly replied, “I kind of like math.” As a teaching assistant for Mrs. Hill’s AP Statistics class, her passion is clear.
When she is not studying, Megan spends her free time playing on the varsity softball team and volunteering in the community. In the future, she’s hoping to work with children, stating, “I was a kid, so I have a lot of background in that.”
Megan wants to bring honest news and different opinions on fun topics, making sure it is “nothing too serious.”
