There have been many hate crimes in the past years, and this recent one is as horrible as any other but it is a bit more extreme and thoughtless then the rest there were reportedly four black teens who abducted and abused a mentally disabled child because he was white and because he voted for trump for president now my firm opinion is nobody should be physically assaulted in our country for their views no matter what they might be but this is just a heartless act to do such a thing to someone who is not even fully aware of the choices he makes and how they impact others and in this way these four teens choose to counter his idea by attacking and brutalizing him on camera is utterly jaw dropping when they could have just as easily spoken to him or even better let him believe and vote for who he wanted. Hall students I spoke to unanimously agreed that this was in fact a hate crime and that these four teens should be prosecuted the same as any adult when asked if the teens background family came into play for this to happen some student said yes and that the prosecutor should take that into account but because of the nature of their crime nobody I spoke to had any sympathy for theses teens.
