Pops n Jazz: What You See and What You Don’t
Pops n Jazz is an annual performance produced by Hall High school. It is one of the biggest events that the school puts on. While many people go and enjoy the show, they do not fully understand the scope of how much work is put in. In total, an average of 10 hours a week are put in between all groups from Monday to Friday, oftentimes multiple groups rehearsing at the same time. This year, there are about 127 students who are actively participating in pops n jazz this year, and each and every one of them puts in numerous hours to make the show as great as it is. But it’s not just the students who put in all the work. While the students are what you see, the teachers are what allow PNJ to happen in the first place. We may make the show, but they put it together. From Mr.Bazzanno, Mr.Boles, Mr.Drake, Mr.Antonucci, and Mrs.Kate, they are the ones who set up all the music, build the spectacular sets, create the choreography and allow us to sound as good as we do and allow us to present Pops n Jazz to people every year.
