A home is what you make of a house, it is where you feel most comfortable. And the best way not having to search for your home, is to build your own, as it is made by you, for you. In November of 2022, we were told we needed to move to New York for my Dad’s work, so we decided we wanted to build our new home instead of searching. We found a nice town and a plot to buy and build on in April 2023. In July we visited again to see the immense amount of progress made on the house. Although the backyard was smaller than we were told, we were ecstatic. Finally, we went back at the end of September to find almost the whole house done. The project we had been waiting months on, and eagerly tracking throughout the year, has almost concluded—a place where we would call home for the rest of our lives.
