Students wanting to buy snacks between classes, but restrictions force them to buy from the school cafeteria lunch line. The cafeteria lunch line is always long, and students can't buy from the cafeteria unless it's their lunch period.
For the 2 years that the vending machines have been locked, students have complained about it being an inconvenience. The school closing the vending machines during lunch hours has just made it so that the school cafeteria makes more money. And now that the vending machine is rarely used, it has made the selection very small. There is a simple solution to this, though. If the school were to call the company and ask to have the snacks refilled, it would allow students to have more variety and options. And opening the vending machines back up at the normal time would allow students to have more options throughout the day.
