In a world where new and convenient items like fast fashion and modern technology are readily available, it’s hard to believe that there’s still a market for vintage items. July 26 2025, these photos were taken inside of a comic shop in Davis Square. Inside I observed vast collections high-quality vintage toys, comics, and trinkets. At Comicazi, you can easily find well-loved Marvel and DC comics and action figures, displayed in full, colorful rows behind glass and in between physical stands. While I wasn’t able to witness it on this day, I also learned that they typically hold games and events to foster community. While Comicazi could make profit selling nationwide, they are only available at one location in Somerville MA, giving the store a local and compact feel.
