On October 5, Vice President Mike Pence announced that the government is looking into going back to the moon, saying, “We will return American astronauts to the moon, not only to leave behind footprints and flags, but to build the foundation we need to send Americans to Mars and beyond.”  Questions remain, however as Pence didn’t give a timetable, budget, or other elements of a plan.
