Generation X, or iGen is known to be obsessed with technology and its use. Technology is used for everything everywhere. As these pictures so our reaction to when technology is used in a bizarre way. My first picture shows a kid taking a picture of his food instead of just eating his food. This shows not only our obsession with technology but also our need to document our every action. Instead of eating his food, this iGenner documents his food. My second picture shows two girls taking a picture for instagram. In the background you can see another person watching the picture go down. This not only shows our obsession with taking pictures and the fact that that we are not do not care how other people think or preserve us. This is also shown in my third and final picture. This picture shows one student taking a picture of himself, while another student looks at him with a weirded out look on his face. Like the second picture this shows similar themes where the iGen needs to document everything and doesn’t care about what other people think about them. As you can see these pictures all show our addiction to taking pictures and technology. Because of this our generation has become normalized to people taking pictures and selfies. This has caused us not to care about how other people think of us.
