Bathrooms Devoid of Privacy

Bathrooms don’t need to be amazing. After all, we aren’t doing the most clean thing in them; however, they should be kept at a certain standard. We don’t need to have super clean conditions, but we expect at least enough so that we can do our business in private and in relative comfortability. Unfortunately, Halls bathrooms are the opposite of clean and private. The second anyone walks into a bathroom at hall, they are overwhelmed with a putrid smell. There was an incident where mushrooms started growing underneath some urinals. Something needs to be done. Even nature’s telling us that the restrooms are not sanitary. Many of the urinals don’t have dividers, which would be fine if they weren’t one foot apart from each other. In two of the photos, you can see that there were dividers in place between the urinals at some point. After years of use those dividers broke off, but the school hasn’t bothered to fix them. Privacy is something everyone expects in a bathroom. Somehow, halls bathrooms are devoid of privacy. Some of the stalls locks don’t even work! Aside from the issue of privacy, you can clearly see that there are many scratches on the doors and walls. While the restrooms are definitely in need of repair, the students also have a responsibility to keep the restrooms clean in order to keep the restrooms from going further into disrepair.
