With the heart of the high school football season heating up, the Hall High School varsity football team is cruising through their divisional games with a record of 4-0.  Wins over Buckley-Weaver, Enfield, Simsbury, and Glastonbury, making the team looking like they are set to have a great season.

The only worry right now is the loss of one of the team’s senior, first string running backs, Theo Blaschinski. He is out with an inversion sprain in his left ankle after suffering a an impact to his lower leg while being tackled in the Hall vs. Simsbury matchup.

The head coach for Hall varsity football, Frank Robinson, says that he cant wait for him to be healthy. When asked about the recovery time, he told us “I wish one day”. Blaschinski is a vital part of the team’s offense and will surely affect the running game.

When interviewed, Blaschinski expressed, “I do physical therapy activities, stretch, and take Advil.” These rehabilitation techniques are basically all he can do for an injury like this.

Blaschinski hopes, at his current recovery rate, to be back playing in next week’s game against the Southington Knights. However, with ankle injuries such as Theo’s, recovery timelines are always a rough estimate.
