In this generation the music of choice for most teenagers is rap. But another genre of music is rising in popularity again. Metal music, which which was popular in the 90’s and the early 2000’s, is coming back into the stream of popular music for Generation Z. People often think of people who listen to metal as violent. But the truth is, the reason so many people listen to metal is because it’s so expressive. Metal can portray anger, sadness, or excitement in the best ways, and performing it is a rush like no other. Giving energy to the people and getting that energy back is an indescribable feeling.
