Impact of COVID-19 in Religious Places
COVID-19 has had many impacts on our society. It has changed how we present ourselves in public places. COVID has made us wear masks every public place we go and we must keep a six-feet distance all the time. It has even changed when we go to schools. We are trying to go back to a normal school year but we will also remember the hybrid/online classes. One of the places changed by COVID-19 is religious places. At first some religious places were closed to figure out how to open safely. But once these places were able to safely reopen, there was a decline in people coming to these places. When praying or sitting we often sit close to each other but because of COVID-19 people have stopped coming to these places to avoid getting COVID-19. It’s like this because people fear that they will get COVID-19 even with all the safety measures. We may have not even noticed how places like this seem empty as days go by. It will take time but we will recover from this epidemic as vaccines have started to make its way to the population. And soon we will be able to get back to our normal lives and make a better year than 2020. And also hopefully we could go to public places without a mask. And also go on vacations.
