Evan Lombardo, Editor
Evan Lombardo is a 16-year-old at Hall High School. He was born in New Hampshire on December 3, 2002, but moved to West Hartford when he was two and has been here since. Although he does not go back often, Evan wants to go back, “I wish we visited more, it’s really pretty.”
Journalism was a class of interest for Evan because he knew it would be “a great way to become informed and have my voice heard.” Taking journalism has pushed Evan to watch more of the news and become more aware of what is going on in the world around him. This class has become a way for him to write what he feels passionate about and hear others voices as well. As a dedicated student, he is very involved in his community and within Hall.
Evan plays soccer for Hall and is part of clubs such as Chem for Kids. Soccer has been a huge part of his life ever since he was four and is now the captain of the Hall varsity soccer team. Although soccer is so important to him, he does not want to play competitively in college. After high school, Evan hopes to attend Carnegie Mellon University to study neuroscience. With this, he hopes to research the brain and help create cures to different diseases. Evan is a very ambitious student who has achieved a lot and plans to accomplish a lot in his life. He spends his time playing unified soccer and working on his schoolwork, which is very important to him.
