Gabby Wojdyl
As a 2023 senior, Gabby’s writing in the Hall Record will focus on controversial topics within the school; ongoing debates, school policy, and that of which lies in the interests of the student body most.
Q: What are your interests and hobbies?
I play field hockey and golf—I ski when I can. I don’t watch any of those, though; [Gabby] would rather watch hockey or basketball, sometimes football. I also work a lot during the week, but I like spending time with friends and family the most.
Q: Who is the biggest source of inspiration in your life?
My mom, probably. She’s worked hard her whole life to be at a good place in her career, and now she is very well respected in her field. I’d like to follow in her footsteps; she’s definitely someone worth idolizing.
Q: What do you plan on doing in the future?
I plan on going to college and majoring in classical studies while I’m there. After graduating with a Bachelor, I hope to go into anthropology and get my doctorate.
Q: Why did you take journalism?
I’m thinking of picking up literature as a minor in college, so taking journalism my senior year is something that would help prepare me for that route.
Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of in your life?
I was able to get certificates in two different languages: Spanish and Latin. I felt this was a really big achievement for me and my future.
