Q: Let’s get started with why you’re taking this class!
A: I feel like it’s really important to learn how to communicate and how to find information, I love to stay informed about what is going on around me.
Q: What do you see yourself gravitating towards in terms of article topic or type of content you want to produce?
A: I feel like things that actually touch on important topics where people are actually being affected, and I can actually talk about and hopefully bring awareness to is where I gravitate towards.
Q: Are you looking to go into journalism or just use the skills you pick up in this class?
A: A bit of both, though I’m not going towards journalism as a career it’s a very important to me to know these skills it’s definitely something I’m going to be using and possibly taking another class in during college.
Q: What’s your first choice of major?
A: Right now I’m thinking about biology—something in medicine. Either that or finance is what I’m leaning towards, because I do a lot of finance classes which I enjoy and find important.
Q: What do you see yourself doing in economics?
A: I’m thinking of starting my own business, and then using my financial literacy skills, as well as journalism to research and communicate.
