Landon Cacio, Editor
Landon Cacio knew very little about Journalism when he chose to take this course. Being a 17-year-old senior at Hall, this is his first year taking the class. His experiences so far are illuminating.
Q: Who inspires you?
A: I would say my family inspires me, but mostly my mom. I say this because I feel that her work ethic is something I strive for. She has worked for a lot of the things she has and has helped me throughout my years of schooling.
Q: What activities do you participate in outside of school?
A: I mostly enjoy participating in sports year round such as football in the fall and basketball in the winter. I also have recently got into watching shows on netflix, nothing in particular, but what’s popular.
Q: What’s your dream job?
A: My dream job is to be a pediatrician or a doctor. It’s been a dream of mine ever since I was a kid and till this day I’ve been chasing it. I would love to be in a field of service where I get to help people in need.
Q: Why did you choose to take Journalism?
A: I feel that Journalism is a great opportunity to learn. I took the class because I wanted to get a better understanding of the world of press. I say this because I feel that I’m always watching the interviewer, yet never the other side of the scene.
Q: What do you like to write about?
A: I really enjoy writing things that I find enjoyable. For example, I love writing about books such as thrillers that give you a chance to have multiple perspectives on one thing. It’s hard to write about myself and things that I don’t enjoy.
