Lauren McCann is a senior at Hall high school. She enjoys being at Hall and spending time with her friends. She wants to help others in school learn about what’s going on in the world around them. She would like to major in political science in the future.

Q: Why did you take this class?
A: I think journalism is really important just to know what’s going on in the world.
Q: What do you want to write about?
A: I want to write about more like current issues, like, I want to focus on that.
Q: Do you like Hall?
A: Yeah, I have nice friends, and I like the school
Q: What problem or problems do you think we have at Hall?
A: I remember a friend told me how they don’t have enough funding for like art. She had to buy her own clay. That’s like, $60. So I feel like that is a problem.
Q: Okay. So how do you think we can solve that?
A: I feel like when the funding went to redoing the cafe, like, it looks nice, but it’s, not necessary. So like, putting the funding where you need to.
Q: Do you enjoy writing?
A: Yes, I do
Q: Do you like this class?
A: Yeah, I’ve learned a lot of new things going on around the world in this class.
Q: What impact do you want to leave at Hall?
A: I want to inform more people about what’s going on at Hall and outside of Hall.
