Q: How would you introduce yourself to the readers of the HallRecords?
A: I would say passionate. Once I get into something, there’s no going back. I just want to keep learning about that one topic, keep growing off of that, and want to keep learning more.
Q: How do you enjoy spending your time outside of the school
A: I enjoy staying active which includes swimming and running, but recently I got an injury that won’t allow me to do this much anymore.
Q :If you could interview anyone in the world, anyone, who would you choose and why?
A: I would choose Abraham Lincoln because he is the one who established this country and was one of the first presidents. And it would just be really inspiring to see how he would think and just about him and how it was like to be in his time.
Q:What motivates you to take journalism class?
A: I was motivated because freedom is essential to the country. And I feel like learning about different movements and just hearing different stories and being informed by the news is just really critical. And it just motivated me to take the class.
Q: What stories or topics are you passionate about in covering?
A: Anything related to the news to do with, I would say, just impacting life as a whole. If it impacts the majority of the population, I’d say I’d want to learn about it, to keep updated, to know what’s going on.
Q: How do you see the role of journalism today in the society?
A: The role that I see in journalism is making sure that everyone has a voice, everyone’s being heard, making sure that America is remaining a free country, giving everyone the chance they deserve.
