Noah Silverman, Student Writer
Journalism is the process of writing, typically for newspapers, magazines, online companies, or any other organization that involves the publishing of a writing piece. I decided to take Journalism this year because I was hoping to improve my writing skills for work that I might have to do in college and in years beyond that. More specifically, I want to learn how to write higher quality articles and essays for a potential newspaper. In this process, though, I am afraid that my writing ability has hit it’s peak and it won’t improve this semester. On a separate note, outside of this class I am involved in many aspects of the community. In terms of extracurriculars, I am the vice president for my school, am the captain of a bowling club, play varsity basketball, run cross country. I am also a camp counselor at Camp Lawrence, a sleep away camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
