Sean Fay, Editor
Sean Fay, a dedicated news enthusiast, joined The Hall Record with a simple motivation: a desire to learn more about the world around him. With a passion for staying informed and an eagerness to understand the process behind writing the news, Fay believes journalism is essential for connecting communities and fostering conversations.
Q: What inspired you to join The Hall Record and start writing for the paper?
“I started because I wanted to learn more about the news, how it’s written, and the process behind it,” Fay said. “I’m interested in the news, and I try to read or watch it almost daily. You need the news to live. If you don’t listen to the news, then you don’t know what’s happening in the world.”
Q: How do you feel journalism can improve your community or school?
“Journalism can improve the community or school by bringing people together through writing and conversations,” he said. “The only way to bring the community together is by having different opinions and conversations, even if there are two different views.”
