Sivan Weber is a senior at Hall who wants to pursue a career in something STEM-related, or psychology. During this semester in journalism, she wants to learn more about current events while teaching others to get involved.
Q: Why do you think journalism is important?
A: I think journalism is important because it lets you know what is going on in the world
Q: What are you expecting from this class?
A: I’m expecting to learn more about current events and what’s going on around me
Q: What differences do you think you can make as a journalist?
A : A difference I think I can make is just, like, informing those around me of things they might not know about.
Q: How can journalism help with what you want to do in the future?
A: Journalism can help with almost every subject or topic. Like, you can write an article or create a podcast discussing anything. So, it just helps with any field that you want to go into.
