Sloan Golas, a senior at Hall High School took this class with one thing in mind, to stay current. 

Q:  Where do you usually get your news from?

A:  I don’t really pay attention to the news as much as I probably should, but my dad is always listening to the news so I end up listening in to whatever my dad is listening to which is usually CNN or NPR.

Q:  When you write, what do you usually write about?

A:  When it comes to writing, I tend to become passionate about whatever it is i’m writing about even if its for school.  I’m usually writing for school, but sometimes I’ll write when I just need to get something out of my head.  

Q:  Do you have any unpopular opinions or strong beliefs?

A:  I don’t know if this is unpopular, but I definitely believe in being kind to just anyone.  I know some people just aren’t so I really value kindness and just being kind in my day to day life.

Q:  If you could change one thing about how we receive news, what would it be?

A:  Looking at the news,  id change it so it could be more engaging and interactive as opposed to just listening to someone talk.  Id also change the bias that comes with the news to make news sites more neutral and less one sided.
