Vivian Chow was born in Connecticut’s Hartford Hospital on May 18, 2001. She lived in Farmington for the beginning of her life with her two younger siblings, Jilian and Kenneth, and her dog, Yuki. She moved a couple times, and went to three elementary schools.

She has never written for a newspaper before. She took this class because she “wanted to improve all areas of writing,” but she also enjoys sharing her opinion through her writing.

Her strengths are working well with others, writing well, and being organized. She loves music, and she listens to a variety of it in her free time. She has been in the school orchestra for many years, and she plays the violin and piano. 

She enjoys health-related news, especially because she loves biology and anatomy. After high school, she plans to go to college and medical school.
