Q: Why did you join journalism?
A: When I was a child I used to do articles about things that interested me just for fun. I remember once I wrote an article about Yo-Yo. I always had an interest in journalism so I think this class will be very interesting to me.
Q: Who is the biggest influence in your life?
A: My dad because he overcame a lot of disadvantages. When he was younger he was very poor but was able to accomplish a lot of things in his life. He raised me as a single dad, but I cannot forget to mention my aunt and uncle-they also raised me and inspired me every day.
Q: What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?
A: My first job was in an ice cream shop. My boss treats the staff very poorly. After this job, I started to be more humble and appreciate all the workers, especially the waitresses and the cleaners.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: My dream job is to become a psychiatrist because my mom struggles with mental health issues and I want to be able to help her. Also understanding the brain sounds very interesting to me.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I adore watching movies, but I don’t just view the movie; I analyze it. I like looking at the details like camera angle, color palette, and scene cuts. My favorite director is Tarantino because his movies are perfect. My favorite movie is Back to the Future because it is the best movie of all time.
