Fernando Barros, a senior at Hall, is trying out journalism to explore his interest in finding the truth so he can share with those around him. At school, he enjoys playing on the soccer team. Outside of school, he continues his long standing passion for soccer which happens to be his favorite activity. Overall, he looks forward to using this class as an opportunity to use his voice to positively impact students at Hall through journalism. 

Q: Why did you choose to take journalism? 

A: When I was young, my mom would watch the news and I’d see those guys would search all those crazy stories and it made me think that I could go to those place and search the truth and find any lies that someone may have and then tell people the real

truth.

A: My parents and my uncle

Q: What audience do you want to write to? 

A: Teenagers and people my age. 

Q: What is one lesson you learned that you would want to share with people? 

A: If you face a challenge, just keep pushing forward.
