As college admissions decisions start to roll out, many students are finding themselves with a new type of college stress, the stress of paying for it.

College is getting more and more expensive and students are now looking for opportunities to lower costs. Hall High School’s counseling office has provided scholarship opportunities for students. These scholarships include athletic, academic, and athletic based scholarships. The counseling office, specifically Ms. Shaffer has been nothing but helpful throughout this whole process. However, all of these efforts don’t amount to the thousands of dollars colleges are demanding us to pay. The reaction of students seeing their financial aid for the first time, is full of anger and disappointment. The result of the rising cost of college is an increase in the amount of scholarships students have been forced to apply to. These photographs are designed to shed light on the outrageous costs of college, along with the stress that comes with it.
