One Piece of Rubbish at a Time

Quiet and calm, there was nothing but sand and ocean for miles. Waves crashed on the beach and the early morning sunrise peeked over the horizon, with Brodie Moss and his Australian Shepherd, Stryder, living what looks like a dream. Although to them it’s just an everyday sight.

Several years ago, Brodie started his youtube channel, YBS Youngbloods, in order to make money and build awareness to take care of wildlife. He started while he was still employed as an electrician until his youtube channel started to bring in millions of views. In a recent video, Brodie stated, “Eventually I want to create a place where I personally can fund vets facilities all around Australia, then around the world where there is a place that everyone knows that they can bring animals to where they’re going to get treated properly…”.

Growing up, Brodie lived in a small town on the Western coast of Australia with his parents, brother and sister. At a young age his father connected him to the ocean through spearfishing, fishing, surfing and just exploring the land. He grew attached with the land and life that came with it. Now 32 years old, his family is very involved in his life along with his friends and girlfriend.

Driving across the soft sand, the sun descending beneath the waves. Brodie and Stryder are off, uncovering more adventures while cleaning the ocean once piece of trash at a time and saving any unfortunate wildlife he comes upon. Ending it off: in famous Brodie fashion, “That’s a wrap baby!”
