Insufficient Nutrients in School Lunches and the Small Servings

The amount of food given to students at Hall for lunch is not enough to sustain their learning. School is around 7 hours a day, not counting extracurricular activities. These meal portions are not able to give students all the energy and nutrients they need to be productive in their learning environment. The third picture shows a student lunch brought from home. This lunch is a lot more sustainable and filling as well. Students can’t learn if they’re low on energy and have a growling stomach. The second image shows a school bought lunch which includes a choice of milk, a hot dog, and a half-filled cup of chili which is already small.
