A bear goes through a local businesses trash.
In the West Hartford area, there have been many sightings of bears in peoples’ backyards and local businesses. Bears can smell food from far away, then come and try to eat it. They can cause a lot of damage on the property when crossing through. Trash cans and fences can be disrupted. If you try to scare them there is a chance they might go up to you and attack so always be cautious when coming across a bear and make sure to stay inside.
