The Wonderful World of Pets

The Surowiec household has one necessity, and that is to own pets. From fish, to turtles, to hamsters, you name it, we’ve taken care of it. Pets are such a crucial part of the family because of the loving energy that they give us everyday. For us, being able to come home to a wagging tail and a fluffy, smiling face is definitely a heartwarming feeling. Our motto is that a house without pets cannot be considered a home. Although animals cannot speak with words, their actions say everything. Rocky, our black and white cat, rests his paw on the window whenever he sees us through the other side. This photo shows me how no matter what barriers are between us and Rocky, he will always do his best to reach out and be as close to us as possible. Chloe is our grey and white cat, and she spends her time basking in the sun and posing for photos. Without her, we wouldn’t have half of the entertainment we have now. She makes sure we are watching her at all times and can see what she’s up to. It is evident how much she cares about us noticing her actions. Our newest addition to the family, Coco, brings immense happiness to our lives. He loves attention and enjoys playing catch with his mini tennis ball. He does not know it, but having him prance around the kitchen is extremely meaningful and keeps us company. He got us through a hard time when our other pet passed away from old age. He knows how to keep our minds off of the negative and bring a positive vibe to every room he walks into. I appreciate the people around us who recognize how special our animals are and how much we praise them. It is truly touching when my friends come over to visit Coco and our cats. The strong emotional bond people are able to create with our pets is so impressive and meaningful.
