Young, Wild, and Free

Summer 2019. We took a life changing trip to Vermont, as Hopping in a car spontaneously and making the 4 hour trek up north, was a very liberating experience. There was never a dull moment in the three days full of hiking, cliff jumping, and just messing around.

The first photo depicts the peacefulness and serenity of nature, from the top of a ski pole tower. The view shown never seems to end and the sky stretches on forever. The peace you feel is like nothing ever felt before and climbing the twenty foot ladder to the heavens put you almost in the clouds looking at miles and miles of free terrain. You get the feeling of new adventures on the horizon as there is endless to explore and hike around in. The second photo radiates freedom and living to the fullest. The feeling of pushing off the rock, and leaning backwards to rotate around in a back flip is truly unmatched. It defines the meaning of feeling young, wild, and free. As the long drop to the water quickly approaches, the cold water rushes over with a wave of relief, and satisfaction. The final image shows the messing around and fun side of the trip, as Joey flails off the edge of the cliff. As he descends towards the water, surrounding people laugh and smile, as he probably said something crazy as he leaped forward. There is not a real care in his head, just a smile on his face which spreads to everyone else’s. All three photos exhibit a dream like experience that has changed us and is something that we will never forget.
