Have you ever wanted to learn a cool new dance, and wished that there were only someone who could teach it to you? Luckily, Megan Rodriguez-Hawkins and Jazelyn Lizardi, co-presidents of Hall’s Dance Club are up to the task! Every other Friday until 3:30 in room A110, Dance Club gathers to practice and learn the hottest new dances, be they your standard TikTok routine or the latest challenge. “This club is really a fun, safe space,” says Megan, “It’s just a space to relax and have fun at the end of a long week and spread positivity.” Each meeting, club members learn a new dance taught by Megan and Jazelyn, who have learned it in advance, as club members choose the next dance at the end of every meeting. According to the pair, “after our fall cheer season ended, we were just looking for something fun to do that was still active and exciting.”

The club is just getting started, but they have already learned such iconic dances as tiptoe and are looking forward to learning Con Calma. Don’t let that intimidate you, though, because everyone is welcome and no dance experience is necessary! Club member Madina Mamedli says: “It’s fun, it is indeed fun. People should join.”
