COVID-19 v.s Taekwondo
During the COVID-19 crisis, we have all had to abandon many of the practices we used to do normally. It is understandable that this has been a struggle for many people in this world, but we see that many different activities we used to do are becoming more adaptable for this pandemic. Some of these may include schooling, jobs, and sports. Martial arts such as Taekwondo are somewhat more challenging to keep under virus regulations, but Hwangs Taekwondo in West Hartford has had a good reputation of keeping themselves under regulations while also trying to make their classes as suitable as possible for the people who go to classes there. Many of the regulations they have applied include keeping classes more concise and available on apps like Zoom, providing separate areas for students to train, and providing temperature checks before classes. In addition, they have also tried to make their classes as normal as possible during these times so that everyone can train more naturally during each class. Personally, I can still normally train during the classes I’m in even with all the new regulations and I haven’t witnessed many complications during the classes I have attended.
