Is Winter Not Valued Enough?

Winter is notoriously known for being the most hated season. Lots of people absolutely despise the cold and want nothing to do with it. But to others, winter is one of the greatest seasons of them all. There are many lively ways to enjoy yourself and have fun in the cold. Some of these activities may include sledding, ice skating, skiing, or using your creativity to build something nifty in the snow.

Taking a drive up to a mountain on the weekend and going skiing is a good way to relieve stress from school. It’s a refreshing feeling to not have those missing assignments on your mind and to just be having a blast speeding down the slopes.

Sledding is another electrifying way to get out of the house and have a nice time. All it takes is to purchase a blow up tube or even a plastic sled from a local dollar store and locating a little hill with some snow on it. That’s it.

You can try going on an adventure and search for a frozen pond to ice skate on. Or if it’s not frozen all the way, try testing the boundaries of the thin melting ice. This is a good way to seek an adrenaline rush. But be careful as you might fall in!

So next winter don’t stay trapped in the house and pout about the cold, but go get outside and try to make it better by participating in one of these activities.
