Q: Why did you take journalism? What do you hope to get out of the class?
A: I want to learn, so maybe this class might change my mind about reading the news. When we did that activity on the board, the current events, [the activity] made me more interested in the news.
Q: What are some of your favorite in-school or out-of-school activities to do?
A: In school, I like to hang out with friends or do CSA [computer systems analysis]. CSA is pretty fun, but also hard. Outside of school, I started reading books again, and I’m kinda into it.
Q: What do you hope to be doing in 5 years?
A: I enjoy programming, and although I’m not the best at it, I want to do programming in the future. I’m not sure what else, maybe becoming an engineer, but I’m still deciding.
Q: Who inspired you to be who you are right now?
A: I look up to my grandfather because he enjoyed his life and explore a lot. He always told me to live life the best I can. My grandfather also brought us back together; he brought back that love, that passion. He reunited us all.
