Alex Hobbs
Alex Hobbs is an aspiring businessman looking for a new skill set in the world of journalism. He wants to learn the ways of journalism to improve his style of conversating as well as his ability to story tell.
Q: Why did you choose to take this class?
A: I got stuck with it. I took creative writing, so obviously journalism is the second semester. I think it’s a cool class. There are a lot of benefits from taking it.
Q: Who is your idol and what does that person mean to you?
A: I don’t play football, but Patrick Mahomes. I think he is a great role model.
Q: Name your top 3 favorite TV Shows and/or movies?
A: I like South Park and Family Guy. My favorite movie is Saving Private Ryan.
Q: If you were to travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
A: I’ve never been out of the country. Somewhere in Europe, probably Italy.
Q: What do you hope to accomplish in journalism?
A: I’d like to walk away knowing how to be a journalist. I want to be able to take a topic and write about it, understand it, and share it with the media.
