Ary hopes to learn about her community and gain skills to grow her esthetician platform in Journalism class, as a senior at Hall.

Q: Why did you choose to take journalism?
A: I needed the credit but the class was interesting because I was interested in what was going on when went home and told my mom “Did you know this was happening?”

A: To keep people informed and knowing what's going on around them, what's going on in their body, and just different things like that.

Q: What are your interests?
A: My interests are doing social media. I wanna be an esthetician so you have to market yourself this class kind of helps with that like being in front of the camera and talking to people.

Q: What types of topics do you want to cover in class?
A: the way school is shaped by its students and not just the teachers.

Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?
A: I used to say my aunt, but now it's an esthetician/ lash tech Samaria Davis, she showed me what an esthetician was through a post on social media.

Q: What news sources do you usually use?
A: Kinda Instagram but I downloaded Twitter and the local news companies I guess

Q: What are your hobbies what do you do in your free time?
A: I mostly babysit, but other than that I kinda just stay to myself, do YouTube, or school.
