Chase Gengras, Editor

Chase Gengras shares not only her greatest passions and plans, but also her newly sparked interest in Journalism. She recounts her favorite qualities about herself, her ardor for animals,  and so much more.

Q: What’s the one word you would use to describe yourself?

A: Hm, lazy. Just kidding. I’d say maybe… joyful? Yea, joyful. I try to always look on the positive side of things and be happy as much as I can.

Q: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A: Definitely Hawaii. It’s so warm and has so many animals.

Q: Do you like sea animals?

A: Yes of course. I want to help to take care of endangered and injured sea animals when I’m older.

Q: What made you want to take Journalism?

A: Well, I took Creative Writing last semester, and I really liked it. Journalism seemed pretty interesting and it sounded a lot like it.”

Q: What kinds of things do you want to write about this year?

A: Definitely saving endangered animals and the pollution in the sea. I hate how our animals and planet are being treated. I guess I want to write about saving the planet.

Q: Lastly, what is one thing you wish you could change about the world?

A: Climate change and pollution. It’s so sad and I hate it.
