Gus Brudz, with a long interest in racial injustice, decided to take journalism to bring awareness to discrimination in the workplace. Gus also has a passion for medicine and is excited to explore health sciences in his future.
Q: What motivates you to write for the HallRecord?
A: My mom has always been my biggest motivation to write, especially because she is an english teacher. She has encouraged me to write throughout my life about topics that interest me.
Q: What are your future plans with journalism?
A: Within the next couple years I hope to take a photojournalism class and potentially write for my school's newspaper in college.
Q: Where do you acquire your news from?
A: I regularly get all my news from Morning Joe since that is what my mom watches. However, on my own time I will watch ESPN as well.
Q: What are your future plans excluding journalism?
A: I want to go to PA school and become an EMT throughout college. I am hoping to make a lot of money and study health sciences so I can become a physician assistant post college.
